A VERY MUCH irritated with Cisco. I just purchased 4 2960x switches, the install instructions tell me to go to the Cisco site to download the USB drivers, I login and am told I cannot down load the drivers because a service contract is required.

Installation Instructions

1.Click the followingURL: http://software.cisco.com/download/navigator.html?mdfid=269065653.

2.In the Find Devicebox, enter 7921.

3.Click the CiscoUnified Wireless IP Phone 7921G link.

4.Click the SkinnyClient Control Protocol (SCCP) Software link.

5.To view all availableversions, click Expand all.

6.Click the 1.4(6)version.

7.Download the Cisco 7921firmware installer for your Cisco Unified Communications Manager version,referencing the table below.

8.Install the firmware accordingto your Cisco Unified Communications Manager release.

Cisco Unified CommunicationsManager Version 5.1 and later

1.Using your web browser,log in to the Cisco Unified OS Administration web page.

2.Under the SoftwareUpgrades menu, select Install/Upgrade.

3.In the SoftwareLocation section, fill in the appropriate values for the file that youdownloaded above, and click Next.

4.In the Options/Upgradesdrop-down box, select the file you downloaded above, and click Next.

Note: Prior to CUCM6.0, the drop-down box is referred to as Available Software.

5.After validating thatthe MD5 hash value is correct, click Next.

6.Verify that theinstallation was successful.

7.To install anotherfile, click New Install (CUCM 5.1) or Install Another (CUCM 6.0and later) and repeat steps 3 - 7.

8.Restart the TFTP server

a. From the Navigation drop-down menu, select Cisco Unified CallManagerServiceability (CUCM 5.1) or Cisco Unified Serviceability (CUCM6.0 and later) and click Go.

b. Under the Toolsmenu, select Control Center - Feature Services.
c. In the Server drop-down box, select the server where thefirmware was installed.
d. Click the Cisco Tftp service radio button.

e. Click the Restart button or icon.

9.Reset the Cisco UnifiedWireless IP Phone 7921G to upgrade the firmware.

a. From the Navigation drop-down menu, select Cisco Unified CallManagerAdministration (CUCM 5.1) or Cisco Unified CM Administration (CUCM6.0 and later) and click Go.

b. Under Device menu, select Phone.
c. Click Find to list all the devices.
d. Select the Cisco 7921 wireless IP phones to reset, then click ResetSelected button or icon.
e. In the Device Reset pop-up window, click Reset.

Cisco UnifiedCommunications Manager Express Version 4.1 and later

1.Extract files from theZIP image and manually copy them to TFTP server (router flash), and enable themfor TFTP.

1.Using your web browser,log in to the Cisco Unified CM Administration web page.

2.Under the Devicemenu, select Device Settings > Device Defaults.

3.Verify that the newfirmware image name is listed in the Load Information field for theCisco 7921 SCCP wireless IP phone.

1.Use the show flashcommand to learn the filenames associated with the Cisco 7921 SCCP wireless IPphone firmware.
