General information
- Heroes of Might and Magic III Complete WIN 7 64 bit I finally found a solution to run heroes 3 (HOMM3) on Windows 7 64-bit I have a patch to replace the exe file and run it in compatibility mode for xp sp3.
- Heroes of Might and Magic III: In the Wake of Gods is a massive modification of HMMIII inventing script language and generally intended to stretch the boundaries of the original game capabilities. HMMIII WoG presents new objects with various properties, drastically changed and improved creature abilities and a wide variety of custom scripts for.

Mac OS and Linux[edit]
The Mac OS and Linux versions of the game are no longer sold, and existing copies of those are hard to run on modern systems. The easiest solution for running the game on Linux or OS X is buying the Windows version and running it under Wine. Further information on how to do that can be found on AppDB. Alternatively, VCMI can be used to run the game.

Game crashes unexpectedly after some time[edit]
- This is caused by a bug in the game, experienced only on multi-core or hyper-threaded processors. Newer GOG.com versions do not have this issue. It can also be resolved by using the HD mod.
